Had a lovely chat with the girl from the hotel over breakfast - then we headed to Athens, expecting to take a few hours….
Just outside Delphi is a lovely ski town - Anahova - must remember to tell Kathy to come and ‘ski Greece’. The main road went right through the middle of town (and was reduced to one lane!)
Miracle of miracles - we managed to find our way back to Athens and even managed to get back to the hotel - only took us 2 hours from Delphi - navigator and driver extraordinaire!!! The biggest challenge was trying to get into the hotel garage around a big truck!
Had late lunch in the Plaka and then had a fairly early night to get ready for the early checkout in the morning.
Our 30th (yes 30th) anniversary tour to italy and greece. Something we planned before children and can now get around to doing.... We started this blog when we returned, to record our progress - we had bought a netbook to help us while we were travelling but it didn't work, so we decided this would be our record......
