Decided on lunch at Il Pino - lovely - rabbit for me and chicken for Graham. Had a very lovely organic local wine - and very reasonably priced. Great restaurant - the weather got worse as we sat there - couldn’t even see Positano for most of the afternoon….. Pouring rain as we left and we walked home - up one of the staircases which was a bit more strenuous than the road…. Thought Graham was going to have a heart attack!!
Spent the afternoon reading then foolishly decided to head to Hotel Margharita for dinner - poured rain on our ‘detour’ - ie I suggested one way and of course it was the longest and we got soaking wet!!!!
Nice dinner and then the stairs on the way home….. Again a struggle after dinner and a few wines (especially the limoncellos!!) Bit hard not to encounter stairs here...... good for us, but very strenuous!
